Privacy Protocol

At Sanjivani, we believe your biology is your business. We have engineered a "Zero-Knowledge" architecture where your high-fidelity health data remains under your total sovereignty.

1. The Local-First Principle

Unlike traditional health platforms, Sanjivani operates on a Local-First basis. This means:

  • On-Device Inference: All AI processing of heart rate variability (HRV), respiratory shifts, and glucose trends happens strictly on your local device hardware.
  • No Bio-Profiles in the Cloud: We do not maintain a centralized database of user biological profiles. Your raw biometric signals never leave your device.

Our Core Promise

We do not sell, lease, or trade your medical or biological data. Because we do not store your raw data in the cloud, even we cannot access it. You hold the unique encryption keys.

2. Guardian SOS Data Usage

The Guardian SOS Protocol is an autonomous transparency layer designed for emergency response. Data usage is strictly limited to:

  • Trigger-Based Only: Your location and biological status are only transmitted to your designated Guardian when a persistent pathological anomaly is detected and you authorize the trigger.
  • End-to-End Encryption: SOS alerts are encrypted directly from your device to your Guardian's device via our Native Radio Bridge.

3. Data Deletion (The Kill Switch)

Sanjivani provides a "Purge All Data" feature in the app settings. Activating this will immediately:

  • Wipe all local biometric history.
  • Destroy local-at-rest encryption keys (Bio-Keys).
  • Delete all synchronized health history from the app's local database.

4. Compliance & Standards

Sanjivani is designed to meet or exceed the following standards:

  • GDPR & HIPAA: By not storing data centrally, we provide a superior privacy standard by design (Privacy by Default).
  • Apple HealthKit / Google Health Connect: We adhere strictly to the platform-specific privacy guidelines for health data access.
